romoters of Dhanuka Agritech have bought three apartments at The Camellias by DLF in Gurgaon for around Rs 80 crore along with Lenskart’s Peyush Bansal, adding their names to the list of business leaders at the upscale residential complex.

Most of the HNIs have bought the apartments at this Uber luxury condominium around the pandemic but are registering the sale now.

According to document accessed through CRE Matrix, a real estate data analytics firm, Peyush Bansal, has bought a 7,361 sq ft apartment for around Rs 27 crore.

Promoters of Dhanuka Agritech – Ram Gopal Agarwal and Rahul Dhanuka have bought two apartments of 7,361 sq ft while Harsh Dhanuka has bought 9,419 sq ft apartment.

Dhanuka group and Bansal did not respond to ET’s email query.

They have bought the apartment at less than Rs 40,000 sq ft but the average base selling price currently is between Rs 65,000 to Rs 85,000 per square foot, depending on floor height, with a starting price of approximately Rs 70 crore.

The biggest deal done in 2023 was a re-resale of an 11,000 sq ft unit for Rs 114 crore, reported in November 2023. Rentals at The Camellias start from Rs 11 lakh for an unfurnished apartment and Rs 14 lakh for a furnished one.

Building on the success of The Camellias, DLF is all set to launch its next super luxury offering, Lux5 at DLF5, Golf Course Road Gurgaon, in Q3. This project is expected to be a notch higher than The Camellias, with residences starting at Rs 50 crore and upwards.

Recently, Make My Trip’s founder and chairman, Deep Kalra, Den Network’s Sameer Manchanda, and Ashish Gurnani of Assago Group got the sale deed one for apartments they had bought.

Other prominent names who own apartments at The Camellias include Varun Alagh, founder of Mamaearth parent Honasa; Anita Lal, founder of Good Earth; Lokvir Kapoor, executive chairman and co-founder of Pine Labs; Ashneer Grover, former managing director of BharatPe; Kartik Bharat Ram, joint managing director of SRF Ltd; JC Chaudhry, founder of Aakash Educational Services; Ravish Kapoor, managing director of realty firm Elan Group; and Smiti Agarwal, wife of Hemant Agarwal, CMD of V-Bazaar Retail.

Most of the startup founders bought apartments 3–4 years ago for around Rs 25 crore, and the prices have more than tripled since then.

Recently, Smiti Agarwal bought a 10,800-square-foot apartment at The Camellias for Rs 95 crore. ET had earlier reported about the first Rs 100 crore deal in the same condominium.
