After Pune commercial debut, Trump Organization announces 2nd luxury residential project in Gurugram
The new Gurugram project comes shortly after its commercial real estate debut in Pune with the Trump World Center. The new ₹1,200 crore project features two 51-storey towers with high-end amenities and aims to generate ₹3,500 crore in sales
After Pune, the Trump Organization is coming up with a new ₹1,200 crore residential project in Gurgaon called Trump Residences Gurgaon in Sector 69, this time with M3M-led Smartworld Developers and Tribeca Developers. The upcoming project marks the sixth in India associated with the Trump Organization, which first entered the country by tying up with the Chordias of Panchshil Realty in Pune.
The new project, which targets ₹3,500 crore in sales, returns to Delhi-NCR following the debut of Trump Towers Delhi NCR in 2018. “Trump Residences Gurgaon builds on this success with a location off Southern Peripheral Road in Sector 69, providing convenient access to business hubs, upcoming metro lines, schools, and hospitals,” a statement said.
The project, including two 51-story towers with 298 residences, will feature an all-glass façade, double-height living rooms in select units, floor-to-ceiling windows, private elevators, and a shared rooftop. Amenities include an indoor swimming pool, wellness centre, resident lounge, private dining spaces, and children’s play zones.
Eric Trump, Executive Vice President of the Trump Organization, says this is another big project for the company, along with Tribeca, M3M and Smartworld. “The fact that we’re expanding in this remarkable city speaks volumes not just about the strength of the Trump brand in India, but also about the exceptional partnership we’ve built and the tremendous confidence the Trump Organization has in Gurgaon’s future. With this new development, we’ve pushed the boundaries of luxury like never before. Trump Residences Gurgaon will stand among the most iconic and spectacular properties in our global portfolio,” he said.
Pankaj Bansal, Co-Founder of Smartworld Developers, claims the new project will be a “dazzling jewel” in Trump Residences Gurgaon, while Tribeca Founder Kalpesh Mehta says the project is going to be “something different”.
Tribeca Developers, which has a licensing arrangement with Trump’s realty venture, The Trump Organization, has worked with the company on several projects in recent years, including those in Kolkata, Gurugram, and Pune.
The Trump Organization’s expansion in India
The Trump Organization is expanding its footprint in India in a big way. The Trump Organization is involved in 6 projects in India, including 5 residential and one commercial. In the residential segment, Trump Towers have been launched in five cities across India. The first is in Pune, developed by Panchshil Realty; the second in Mumbai, by Lodha; the third in Kolkata, by Unimark and Tribeca; the fourth in Gurugram, by M3M and Tribeca; and the most recent one, also in Gurugram, is being developed in partnership with Smartworld and Tribeca.
Just last month, the Trump Organization also entered the commercial real estate space with its first project, the Trump World Center in Pune. Mumbai-based Tribeca Developers and Pune-based Kundan Spaces announced the launch of the Trump World Center in Pune’s Koregaon Park, marking The Trump Organization’s first commercial real estate project in India. The 4.3-acre development on North Main Road is expected to generate sales exceeding ₹2,500 crore, highlighting Pune’s growing status as a business hub. Trump World Centre Pune will cover 1.6 million square feet, comprising two towers with over 27 floors of office space.
Gurugram-based luxury real estate developer Smartworld Developers has assets under management worth ₹40,000 crore, with key projects like Smartworld Sky Arc in Sector 69, The Edition in Sector 66, and One DXP on Dwarka Expressway in Sector 113, Gurugram. Tribeca Developers, which follows an asset-light real estate development model, has a portfolio of 13 projects spanning 14 million square feet and valued at more than ₹16,000 crore. The company projects ₹2,000 crore in sales for FY25 and targets ₹3,500 crore in FY26.
