PIB Approves 2 New RRTS Corridors in NCR

The Public Investment Board (PIB), has approved two new Namo Bharat (RRTS) corridors connecting Delhi with Gurgaon, Rewari, Sonipat, Panipat, and Karnal. Together, these projects carry an estimated investment of Rs 65,000 crore and will now proceed to the Union Cabinet for final approval.
The approved RRTS Corridors has been mentioned below:

The Sarai Kale Khan-Bawal RRTS corridor will run through parts of southern Haryana, including key industrial hubs such as Manesar and Bawal, following the alignment of NH-8. The first phase from Delhi to the SNB Urban Complex near Bawal spans about 107 km and includes 16 stations. The full alignment will feature around 22 stations once extended further south.
The Sarai Kale Khan- Karnal RRTS corridor will extend northwards through major Haryana towns such as Sonipat and Panipat, reaching Karnal. The detailed project report (DPR) for this corridor has already been prepared.
The Delhi–Meerut RRTS Corridor is currently the only operational RRTS line in India. The Delhi–Meerut RRTS Corridor Spans 82 km connecting Delhi, Ghaziabad, and Meerut. At present, a 55-km section between New Ashok Nagar and Meerut South, comprising 11 stations, is operational .
